After recording in London, Liverpool and Switzerland, Killerfernandez unleashed their debut album ‘Feitaboogie’ on 7 February 2009 at Industry, London. Jennifer John’s powerful vocals (vocal MD in Damon Albarn’s ‘Monkey – Journey To West’ / founder Sense Of Sound Choir, from BBC’s Last Choir Standing) meet the sublime musical textures of musical mastermind and bassist Philipp M Moll. Guitar virtuoso Stuart McCallum from Cinematic Orchestra, UK beatbox celebrity Bellatrix and hang-guru Manu Delago on drums complete the line-up. Feat special guests Sibylle Faessler & Jessica Berry.
Produced by Rune Langhelle in Askøy, Norway, the album has been two years in the making and is accompanied by the video “Sleepwalker” – produced by Astronaut Film (director Michael Kaltenhauser). ‘Feitaboogie’ is available for download on iTunes, CD Baby and other music web shops.
